Plants species for sale are Anthurium genus "Oaxaca", live plants. Each plant I offer is Hybridized and grown from tissue cultures to be a disease free exact replica of the mother plant. Plants for sale are between 5-16" tall. This is the Anthurium for the not so very green thumb. This Mexico native Anthurium is a new discovery by Lester Kallus. Anthurium Oaxaca grows to an impressive 4' hight. The climate of it's origin explains how this plant is so wonderfully tolerant of occasional neglect. More drought and cold tolerant than other Anthuriums. Whithstanding occaisonal freezing temperatures. Anthurium Oaxaca makes a stunning houseplant or a wonderful landscape plant. This is an unusually large and attractive Anthurium that has huge heart shaped leaves and large deep pink flowers. New growth is a coppery bronze for 1-2 weeks. How to grow Anthurium "Oaxaca", Anthurium soil requirements and planting instructions, Mix together the following: 60 percent potting soil; 20 percent peat moss; 20 percent coarse sand and a handful of perlite. Place this mixture in a pots, beds or garden and plant your Anthurium. When planting Anthurium in the landscape space plants at 24" apart.
